Good morning all,
I am surmising that we must have the only View environment in the world that uses a lot of Flash. We are running PCOIP to software and zero clients. No matter what we do with images, etc, every time someone fires up a flash heavy page it burns up 1GHZ or CPU or so. Just watching a YouTube video does it. Unfortunately a lot of our View system is in Elementary labs and they love their Flash game sites.
We're out of ideas on how to lower the usage. My last hope was the PCOIP offload card, but after getting it all up and happy it does not seem to help this issue much at all. My consolidation ratios are just plain terrible inorder to remotely make this all work. So, this leads me to the question... Are we the only people who use a lot of Flash? View seems to work great all over the place but I do not see many discussions of this issue. Just curious...
