Hi everybody;
I am having a lot of trouble when installing VMware Tools for a FreeBSD, the OS said that the VMWare Tools are running but it indicates an error of a memory client, not to mention all the procedure you have to put on to actually install it.
I have install the VMware Tools in a Fedora and seems that it's more "friendly" installing it, and not how easy it's to do it in a Windows
All this is for the administration and memory managment to each VM in my infrastructure, actually i'm more interested in the memory managment that VMware Tools gives to the server.
I want to keep a Unix/Linux OS in my infrastructure, but since I have noticed some incompatibilitys with FreeBSD distribution and VMware, since Vmware accept a VM that has this OS but does not hold responsible of it's behavior.
My main question is: Does vmware have a OS (besides Windows) that it's fully functional with vmware apps?
Hope you can help me out...
