Can anyone help? I have a non-technical friend with a two year old 24" iMac (2.66GHz Core 2 Duo) that was happily running Fusion 4 on OSX Lion. For some reason that he cannot give me any details on, something corrupted the Fusion installation which would no longer run. He called Apple who took him through uninstalling the Fusion installation (dragged the Fusion app out of the Applications folder). On trying to reinstall Fusion from the DVD, it now tells him that he can't do so because he doesn't have an Intel-based system!. He has also tried the uninstall option from the Fusion intallation disk but to no avail. I presume that when the original installation was corrupted, some config file or other has been left on the iMac and this is preventing re-installation. Any ideas on how to proceed here? I'm having to do this over the phone as I can't get to the system in person or remotely login.
