Increase VMWare Fusion VRAM past 128 MB

I'm trying to run Fallout 3 in a VM and it crashes shortly after I enter the actual game (ie. click continue or new game from the main menu). A previous discussion pointed me to the fact that fusion is limited to 128MB. I have tried setting the game settings to the lowest with no luck. Also, I tried adding the following to the vmx file but windows still reports 128MB of VRAM.

In case it helps, I'm on a 2011 MBP with 1GB VRAM. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks.
