Persona Management not working for XP - works fine in W7

I am having trouble makine Persona Management work in windows XP. I have used:

I have enabled logging in the VMWVvp.txt i get a lot of;

[RTOLogon!RedirectFile     ] VMWGetFileInfo Failed: Process: explorer.exe, File: \Device\HarddiskVolume1\Documents and Settings\

Services enabled and started:
VMware View Persona Management
Volume Shadow Copy
MS Software Shadow Copy Provider

I use the same policy for XP & W7, the logged on user has full permissions on the profile share, and is able to manualle write files and folders to the share.

Any hints/pointers/logs i should look in?
