Hi,
This is an issue I have never seen before ...
The host has about 70GB of free disk space.
The VM has 140GB allocated to it, but it currently takes only 20GB.
On the guest shows 12GB used:
Every week (on Sunday), the Fusion pauses the virtual machine saying:
"Vmware fusion has puased this virtual machine because the disk on which the virtual machine is stored is almost full.
To continue, free up at lease 1.6MB of disk space".
If we just allocate 2 more MB to the VM, and restart it, it works ...
This is very puzzling and frustrating at the same time. The guest is running CentOS 5.0 with vmware tools.
Any ideas ????
This is what the guest is using:
[root@functionpoint ~]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00
144G 9.8G 127G 8% /
/dev/sda1 99M 11M 83M 12% /boot
tmpfs 1012M 0 1012M 0% /dev/shm
Thank you
