My exam experience. Things to rememember to keep you cool and to save the time

I have recently appearted for VCAP-DCA exam and waiting for the result.

During the exam, I had faced few issues which kept me upset and wasted ~10 min of the time which costs a lot for exam like VCAP DCA.

I suggest you to follow few precaustions to save yourself for being cool and save your valuable time.

Point 1:

During the exam I skipped few questions remembering that VCAP-DCA exam is tight on time provided and should not be spending more time on each. I thought I will attempt them at the end.

There was no option to select a question with "mark for review" (so that only selected questions are appeared at the end). This made me clicking Next or Back button multiple times and reading each one again to identify what was skipped. Doing this made incomfortable and wasted valuable time.

I have raised the concen with VMware ceritification team and they are aware of this limitation and planning to improve the GUI option.

* So please cleary write the question 1 to 35 in the white paper given to you and put a cross again the question which you skipped and want to excersise later.

Point 2:

The computer provided in training center got disconnected/hanged 3 times and I was forced to shift to another desktop 3 times, which wasted my time for ~ 10 minutes. The examiner added 2 minutes extra. But it did not add value to the time I lost.  And time spend by the examiner to add time itself took ~40 seconds (for login in to the same computer I used, with examiners login id and other procedure).

*  Please ask examinor to add the exact time you lost including the session disconnection, hanging, time lost while you raise the cocern with examinor and till it get fixed, etc.
