I have a view environment that is failing to let customers connect consistently. The customers are complaining that when they attempt to connect to their view box, they see the message "The view connection server is preparing the desktop" and then an error of "All available desktop sources for this desktop are currently busty. Please try connecting to this desktop again later, or contact your system administrator." If the continue to try, an additional 1 or 2 times, they are evently allowed into their desktop.
After reviewing the event log, I see the error as "Unable to launch from Pool "poolname" for user domain/username: All responding machines are current!". If I click on the further explaination link, it reads "Unable to launch from Pool AdminBox for user domain/username: All responding machines are currently in use".
I am able to repeat this on all consistenly. It is as if the user has to attempt to connect and fail, before they can connect and succeed. I have, on repeating this issue, made sure that the desktop is listed as "available".
If I select logoff before ending the connection, it appears to have the same issue. I have even setting "immediate" log off after disconnect. No luck... any feedback would greatly be appreciated.
This appears to occur more in view 5. We did notice it a bit in 4.6. I have updated all components: Security Server, Connection Server, vCenter, Composer, and view agant. At this point.. i'm at a loss....
