i upgraded to fusion version 4. now when i open my virtual machines (both windows 7) i have no network connections with either the airport or ethernet. i have uninstalled/rebooted/reinstalled vmware tools. if i set it to autodetect nothing changes. i switch from bridge mode or NAT it makes no difference when i opened one of the virtual machines it asked if i wanted to upgrade it on the first virtual machine i said yes to. on the second i said no.
i followed this kb article up until step 4. i want to see if i can fix this issue without having to uninstall/reinstall fusion, the output is below:
