i get the well know scripteror( check http://communities.vmware.com/thread/270450) when trying to install version 8. I dont have any previous verstions installed. I did empty all the tempdirs(atf cleaner), i did disable browsers in ie8, did enable the "do not show"script erros, but no luck.
The folder thats making vmware crash doesnt exist in the tempdir btw; although a vmwarefolder does exist but is has different numbers.I did try installing vmware from the windows installer(from within the temp) but also no luck.
I also noticed something really stranged; i cannot login to the forum with ie8.
Some1 else with ideas??
