increase vmware studio vm's disk size

Hi

I recently deployed VMware studio 2.5 appliance on ESX 4.1. I noticed that it has pre-configured disk of 30GB size.

I am trying to create a Windows Server 2008 R2 VM using studio and giving the VM a size of 12-15GB (that will anyway use around 11GB~ on disk when thin provisioned). I selected OVF output format and that took around 6GB of disk space.

Now the disk appear full (~20gb used) and i have no option to create another VM and further create a vApp using them.

I am not a linux guy so don't know nuts and bolts of linux and how to extend the disk space of the studio appliance.

Can anyone help with how can I extend the size of vmware studio appliance disk? I can do it from esx console and set it to something (e.g., 60gb) from default 30GB. that however, doesn't reflect in actual studio vm.

thanks for any help in advance

umesh
