Hello - looking for some guidance on how to integrate a new vCloud Director install into an existing vSphere/vCenter environment. We have an existing production cluster that is currently hosting many live VMs for customers and are looking to implement vCloud Director as customer-facing management portal. Is there any way within the same vCenter, to 'import' an existing, powered-on VM into vCloud Director that does not require VM to be powered down and cloned into the vCD resource pools? Because the VMs already have unique object IDs within vCenter, it seems to me that all we should really need to do is create the 'managed object' reference in vCloud Director for each VM and somehow link it to the existing VM object in the vCenter inventory. Is this possible?
