Hello all,
Our director came across an interesting phenomenon. He was doing some work on our network and disconnected the NICs from their SAN storage. First one, then the other, then both, however he never lost ping connectivity to the guest VM.
Is there some sort of hold down timer before the VM will die when disconnected from the SAN? Will the VM stay up until it needs to make a disk right?
We found this very interesting...
