VMs (using vmnic1) over ESXi 5.0 failing to ping each other

Hi,

I have installed VMware ESXi 5.0 over 2 HP ProLiant BL460c G7 blades. Each of these ESXi(s) have one VM running on top. Say for example:

ESXi A have VM-1 (have one netwrok adapter 'eth0', attached to vmnic1 of ESXi A) and

ESXi B have VM-2 (have one netwrok adapter 'eth0', attached to vmnic1 of ESXi B)

Both the ESXi(s) have management network configured on 'vmnic0'.

The setup diagram is as follows:

Both the ESXi(s) are able to send ICMP packets (ping packets) to each other, but the VMs cannot.

Do I need to make some other configurations in ESXi, so that the VMs can ping each other?

Note:

The VMs installed are Fedora Core 13.
