I'm attempting to install Windows XP Pro (from an OEM SP2 CD) in Fusion Version 4.1.1 (536016). I go through the installation process to completion, successfully activate Windows, but when I go to log in, it says I need to activate Windows to log in.
The cycle is repeatable, I've used up the normal number of activations and gone through Microsoft's manual activation process with the same results.
I've tried both the assisted and un-assisted installation with the same results.
Any ideas what's going on? Are OEM install images locked from VM installation?
