multiple partitions on a Macbook

Hello,

I have a raw image of an old macbook with multiple partitions. It has at most 3 different operating systems (OSX,Linux,XP) that would load with Boot Camp. I used LiveView to create the VMDK files. I can only boot to XP for some reason. I can see and navigate through the other file systems. I can also mount the different partitions using vmware.

My question is: how can I load the OSX partition? It seems that it should be trivial, but it's not. I can't seem to select any other partition to boot from other than XP. I'm using a VM Workstation and hit ALT (intead of the Options key) but i only get to XP. Any help would be appreciated.

Since this came from a Macbook i thought this was the right section. If not, please let me know.

Thanks.
