I have made a Thinapp from SAPGUI v7.20 which is actually no problem; everything in SAPGUI works fine but we also need the ECL viewer 7.0, which is a by SAP supplied plugin for SAPGUI. ECL viewer 7.0 is used for viewing Autocad files. It allows to redline Autocad files whitout checking them out. Installation goes fine, the application also works on my clean Thinapp PC. But after compiling it generates error messages which are related to Visual C++ 2008 runtime. I thinapped the runtime in the application, but also as a seperate application using applink. Both with the same errors as a result. I also thinapped the ECL viewer 7.0 separate from SAPGUI, the visview.exe application can be used without SAPGUI also. But again the same error messages. The files are all present in the thinapp, I even copied the mfc90.dll to the application directory and registered it with regsrv32. But nothing seems to work. We use a clean Windows XP 32bit PC on VMware workstation and Thinapp version 4.7.0-519532.
