Problem with new certificate

Hello,

today I replaced the default certificate of the vCenter Server (we have two) with one signed by our internal CA. My steps:

- Created CSR

- Created Certifikate

- Created PFX

- Stored rui.key, rui.crt and rui.pfx in the correct folder

- Stopped vpxd service

- Run "vpxd -p"

- Started vpxd service

- Reconnected all ESX hosts

- Restarted all ESX hosts

Now I can connect to both vCenter Servers without any certificate promt. But if click on an ESX host, I get the certificate promt with the OLD default certificate (depending on wich vCenter Server I used to connect).

My first idea was the link mode between the vCenter Servers, so I unlinked them. But still in "stand alone mode" I get this promt after clicking the ESx host.

Seems that there is any communication between the ESX host and the vCenter Server wich uses the old certificate? But why does in this case the vSphere Client does promt this warning? Any idea?

TIA,

Funny
