Local Account and vSphere 5

Looking to see if there is a way to add local accounts via a kickstart file. Today we use vSphere 4.1 and use a third party tool to call in a python script that makes MySQL database calls to pull in the account information. We don't have the ability to integrate Active Directory at this time with the vSphere 5 deployment so we are looking for a similar way the process is done today.
