How do I get memory allocated to VM?

Hello,

I use a MBP 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo, OSX 10.6.8, VMware Fusion 3.1.3.  I have installed the application, and run Windows XP Professional in the past.

However, after uninstalling the application, and then reinstalling it, I find that (after bootiing Fusion), I get a message that I have insufficient memory (somewhere between 0Mb and 3Mb) available on local drive (C:).  I am certain that there must be some setting that I need to adjust, but cannot determine it.

I am an infrequent user of the VM process ... I have one application that I run in the first few months of each year.  I have been able to do so in the past, and this is the first time that I am experiencing this difficulty.

Does antone have an easy suggestion on how to address this issue?
