Changing MTU on vSwitch and not being able to connect via Client

Hi,

 

I changed the MTU on vSwitch from 1500 to 1400 and now I cannot connect to the server using vsphere client.

 

The error is:

 

Connection error

 

The request failed because the remote server 'Server IP Address' took too long to respond.

 

Call "ServiceInstance.RetrieveContent" for object "ServiceInstance" on Server "server IP address" failed.

 

How can I rectify the issue?
