Hi Guys,
I'm new to the forums and new to vmwares product for view manager so please bare with me.
I'm about to deploy the view infrastructure for our VDI deployment. Please see attached picture for my plans.
3 hosts, 1 for hosting vcenter+vcomposer as i plan to use linked clones. 2 hosts so that I can load balance between the the viewmanagers in case one fails on me.
Each host will have 4 network ports. i intend to use 2 ports for view manager to deploy the clones and for network connections for pcoip and acting as the broker the other 2 network ports will be for the user's cloned OS.
My question now to the experts here please is how do i configure view manager to load balance between the two of them and also how do i create 2 allocate 2 nics for viewmanager and 2 nics for users OS?
I'm quite confused here.....as i've never made clusters before does this mean i need to create some kind of cluster to make it seem like we have only 1 view manager and then that somehow knows in the background it has 2 view managers then it knows which nics to use soley for view manager and client OS's...?
Sorry its all going over my head and i would really like some guidance on this thanks.
