Here's what happens, I'll have the list of VM's in the left pane of the VMwarePlayer GUI after I've installed all of them.
1)I'll use one then close the Player
2)I'll then shutdown my PC.
3)Later I'll turn my PC back on & the list of VM's in the left pane of the VMwarePlayer GUI is blank
They're not totally gone I just have to re-install them from the vmware folder I have in my /home using the open a virtual machine option in the right pane of the GUI. Since I've installed 4.0.1 this has been the case. While no data is lost in either my Linux host or guest it is annoying to have to re-install a VM after every shutdown. As said this has only happened with 4.0.1 I've looked through the Preferences. How do I get the list to stay after a shutdown?
Finally, I have this set up
Host Opensuse 12.1 on a Gateway GT 5670 with Nvidia 6150 Graphics, using VMware Player 4.0.1 fully updated with all VM's using up to date VMware Tools.
