Hey everyone,

we have 3 servers in a remote location which loose their connection with vCenter almost every day, since about 10 days. On top of that we see these messages in syslog on all three servers:

vmkernel      local6      notice      vmkernel: 269:13:09:26.550  cpu2:4111)config: 297: "vmoverheadgrowthlimit" = 0, old value: -1,  (status: 0x0)      07 Jan 2012, 08:46:49
vmkernel      local6       notice      vmkernel: 269:13:09:07.980 cpu1:4112)config: 297:  "hostlocalswapdirenabled" = 0, old value: 0, (status: 0x0)      07 Jan 2012,  08:46:12
vmkernel      local6      notice      vmkernel:  269:13:09:05.377 cpu4:4112)config: 297: "vmoverheadgrowthlimit" = -1,  old value: 0, (status: 0x0)      07 Jan 2012, 08:46:12

These messages pop up serveral times a day.

Servers are esx 4.1 update 1 and are scheduled for upgrade to update 2 in a few weeks.

Because of the end of your the servers are in a change freeze so I'm pretty sure nothing changed.

Any clue?
