Windows 7 cannot see network even though tools says it's there

Hi,

Somewhat of a noob, I have been using Fusion with XP for some time with great success, however I recently upgraded to a macbook pro, so I moved to version 4 and bought windows 7. Everything works fine except for any kind of network connectivity.

I cannot use the wireless or ethernet, despite tools showing a green light for bridged or NAT connections.

I've trolled these forums but the only suggestion I could find was to add a line into the .vmx - I have no idea where this is and cannot find it either.
