I need to convert (p2v) a Windows XP based PC with an unusual HW configuration.
The PC have 2 HD configured as IDE Primary master and IDE primary slave.
The PC boots from the IDE Primary slave and the IDE Primary master contains 2 data partitions.
While starting converter I ask to convert both disks, to reconfigure the PC and to install VMware Tools.
The conversion process looks to work fine till a message saying that the system disk cannot be located.
The resulting VM starts (after telling the BIOS to boot the IDE primary slave) but I get a BSOD as the disk is unreadable, I presume because some VMware driver is missing.
How can I tell Converter that the system disk is the IDE Primary slave?
Have anybody faced a similar problem?
