example of BW rule:

As we have same Download and Upload limit  for all the 6 sites, can we import below single Global rule instead of above multiple entries ?

Ever since moving to Windows 10 I have had VM Ware Workstation Player drop out on me with an error about V-Thread 11 at seemingly random intervals. Has anyone else had this problem? Log files are attached.

During a recent upgrade, workstation seems to have lost track of my snapshots. They are still there in the directory, but the manager is saying there is no snaps.

I am running Win XP Pro guest on a Win 10 Host.  All host printers (and everything else) works fine on version 12.1.1 build-3770994. After upgrade to 12.5.0 all the virtual printers disappeared.  I have tried everything I can think of including removing and reinstalling the software and generating a new virtual machine, but the printers stay gone. When I restore Vmware from a backup to the 12.1.1 version, it works fine again. Am I locked into using v.12.1.1 forever?

I urgently need a parallel port on a VM, created with newest Workstation Pro 12.5, finaly running on VMWare Player 12.5.

I bought especially for this case a Lenovo ThinkCenter E73 (motherboard IH81M) with parallel port on board.

First I tried with Win10, then I downgraded to Win7. I didn't succeed to attach the parallel port.

Then I bought an additional PCI express card with one parallel port. After that I found the article 1037704, which confirmed me that this also wouldn't work.

So what can I still do??

How can I access a license dongle on a parallel port out of the VM on an up to date PC?

Please give me a solution. I'm now trying more than two days and it makes me really crazy!

Hosta klavye ve monitörle arayüzünden tüm kartların disconnect olarak görünüyor. network ayarlarını esxi customization ekranıdan restore etmeme rağmen herhangibir değişiklik olmadı. İnternette bir kaç komut gördüm ancak esxi arayüzünden komut ekranı açabileceğim menü göremedim. ilk açılışta recovery seçeneklerindede herhangibir seçenek yok entera bastığımda normal boot olup hiçbir ayarında değişiklik olmadan açılıyor. Host ilk açılırken bios ekranındayken network ışıkları yanıp sönüyor ancak esxi açıldığında tüm ışıkları sönüyor.

İçindeki sanal makinalara zarar vermeden ağ kartlarını nasıl tekrar aktif edebilirim.

Sorry for my general question here but I am not knowledgeable outside of scripting in any form of programming and I need to find a way to create a command line task in VMWARE Converter to convert either a P2V or a V2V to a designated location using the time of creation as part of the name so that I can setup this up in windows scheduler to repeat once per week. If anyone has ever written anything that can do this before I would appreciate whatever help that you can provide. Thank you for your time.

I am trying to add a template into a blueprint for a new vcac deployment. The template doesnt appear in the list, and after an inventory scan I get:

Null child found in collectedObject ID in the log, I can deploy fine from this template in vcenter.

Has anyone come across this ?

Where can I get latest copy of the NSX Visio Stencils?

I have attached a modified ChassisRackVSphereUI sample application to demonstrate an issue with the solutionsCategory extension running the the 6.5 RC client.

Description:

An application that provides inventory list views in both a solutionsCategory and in the Global Inventory Lists causes issues when navigation occurs from the solutionsCategory:

1. Two view lists are loaded instead of one. 
2. After loading two views the Back button fails to move back (ends up on the inventory list again).

In order to have inventory lists in both the solutionsCategory and Global Inventory list I added a new template instance for vsphere.core.inventorylist.objectCollectionTemplate to the sample application.

So the application will two different chassis lists;

One for the solutionsCategory and the one for the Global Inventory Lists. The chassis app already adds itself to the Global Inventory List. I added it to a solutions category.

Expected:

Only the solutions category list view is loaded. This is the behavior on the 6.0 client.

3. Press the Back button.

Observed:

The solutions category list view is loaded and then the global inventory list again, not allowing the Back button to make any progress.

Expected:

Move back to the solutions category view.

This issue causes our solutionsCategory to be unusable. Please let me know if you need any addition information or if a workaround exists.

This is in extension to the discussion we had on HTML5 Fling forum where we have posted our issue related to loading an external plugin (developed in Flex), registered using HTML bridge, but fails to load in the new HTML5 Web Client. To recall, you have suggested us try with HTML5 Fling v1.7 claiming to support this kind of the external plugins.

On registering my plugin, I expect it to be loaded under "Host -> Configure | more -> {MyPlugin}. But I observe that the Configure tab doesn't come up at all whereas other tabs do work. If my plugin is not registered, the Configure tab works as usual. Seems to be a problem loading my registerd plugin content.

Note that the timestamps on the setup are in sync.

As I see the logs, I see that the "zip" file registered with the WebClient is successfully downloaded and validated. And I see an error which not sure if the error is related to loading the plugin. Below are logs I see. Also attaching the complete log file.

Please search for the plugin key "com.emulex.ocm.vcwebclient.EmulexOneCommand" referring to our extension

Having an issue with Tags in PowerCLI I create a tag but it gives me an error its already created (creates it multiple times).  I am running vsphere 6 U1 and the latest version of PowerCLI (I updated it last week.)

Here is a sample:

I can apply tags manually in the web client but I have a lot of tags and vm's to tag as we're just starting to put meta data on them, so I'm trying to get my script to do them however it won't work because there is two tags listed.

Hey All,

When I try Customize a Template or Clone a Windows 10 image, all works fine up until the point of Login Screen where I continuously get "hi there let's get a few basic things out of the way" This is the same if I try join domain or work group.

I have explored the Options of unattend.xml but this seems more for extensive or explicit customizing, I am basically looking for a vanilla VM ready to login to. Sysprep works exactly the same from within virtual machine.

Any ideas ?

I use View PowerCLI to list all active users status from Get-RemoteSession and use ActiveDirectory lookup for more users details.

I need to know which version of Horizon Client every user in the pool is using and add it to the script.

Can not find it in Get-RemoteSession or the HKCU\Volatile Environment registry section.

Is it possible to locate and how?

In the settings for Windows guests in VMware Fusion there is an option for sharing a host printer. Why isn't there a similar option for Mac guests?

Fusion 8 won't start Windows 10, giving the above message.  I deleted two .lck items and one .nvram item, and in the .vmx file there is already checkpoint.vmState="".  Still, trying to start Windows gives the same error message.  I don't get anything more from the discussion posts on this error message.
